Angry Orchard are always coming up trumps with surprise collaborations on a yearly basis and after they partnered with the Jason Universe last year for a limited edition 12-pack of Jason themed cider they’re back again for another Halloween collaboration and this time Ghost Face has been invited to the party.
This year they’re teaming up with the Scream franchise to launch the ‘Thriller Pack’ of hard cider featuring a brand new Ghost Face flavour that will officially be releasing in August.
The Thriller Pack features 12 cans of hard cider with four different flavours all with their own distinct taste and horror title.
The full lineup includes…
- Caramel Apple Curse
- Headless Pumpkin
- Blood Orange
- Mystery Caller
Now as you can see in the image above the cans all have the same design other than the Ghost Face can. They certainly took the lazy option on this one simply changing the colour of the cans as opposed to the design itself. If you’re going to do a thriller pack they should have made each can unique in design but that’s just my own personal preference.
But what I do love about the packaging is something you can’t see on the above image, if you turn the box on the side they’ve designed it to make it look like four VHS tapes stacked next to each other and I think that looks absolutely superb.
Mystery Caller is certainly an eye-catching design as the Ghost Face mask is plastered over the can and the can even glows in the dark further showcasing that Ghost Face mask in a cool and unique way.
The Angry Orchard x Scream ‘Thriller Pack’ is dropping soon and as quite a big cider drinker myself I’m crossing fingers and toes we get them here in the UK as we always miss out on the cool collaborations over here!
