The first trailer for Fall 2: Deadpoint has today been unveiled as we step into another heart-wrenching suspense movie in the follow-up sequel to the August 2022 movie Fall.
We’ve gone from communication towers in the first movie to a sheer mountain face in this second instalment as Jax and her friend set out on a dangerous climb to honour the memory of her fearless sister Hunter who sadly passed (spoiler alert from the first movie there, whoops).
As they tightrope walk the perilous planks of Mount Kwan, a terrifying rockslide leaves them stranded 5,000 feet above ground. In the face of vertigo-inducing sequences, dark truths, and cruel twists, Jax must confront her deepest fears head-on to fight for survival and closure.
What gets me with this particular movie is that we know some sort of big twist is coming, for those who have seen the first movie you know exactly what I mean but they can’t exactly replicate it without it being predictable to the audience so I’m very curious about how this particular instalment will deliver its big twist.
One thing for sure is that if you’re scared of heights (like me) then these movies are going to unlock an even stronger sense of fear and dread within you that you never knew existed.
I feel as though the trailer below already spoils quite a key part of the movie, the trailer starts with 3 and ends with 2 cast members and considering they’re up the side of a mountain on small planks of wood as their only support I think it’s pretty obvious what happened here.
