What Are You Getting For Your Money?

Star Wars SAGA box set

Upon first glance, you seem to be getting three great movies and six drinks coasters!

Whilst admittedly they will all look superb in 4K Ultra HD what exactly are you paying for here?

A printed (not hand-signed) letter from Mark Hamill because that’s such a thoughtful touch?

An artbook that cost around £10 (if that) to make?

Whilst the artbook has a great front cover I just don’t see anything exclusive enough in this box set to warrant such a steep price tag.

Back in the day, you could get full-sized handcrafted figures in your special edition or collectors edition movies.

This saga is steeped in history yet what accompanies the set doesn’t honour or make that history feel special whatsoever.

Give me a The Mandalorian Collector’s Edition with a full-sized Baby Yoda included in the price and I’ll happily bite your hand off for it!

Is this the best Star Wars box set?

No.

But it’s one hell of a Star Wars movie set if you can justify the price.
