The Story
Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall star in director Stanley Kubrick’s adaptation of Stephen King’s disturbing blockbuster horror novel.
This classic horror movie revolves around writer Jack Torrance (Nicholson), a former alcoholic who takes a job as a caretaker for a hotel in the Rocky Mountains. Here he will be isolated along with his family until spring as the snow stops visitors from attending during this season.
When the first blizzard blocks the road Jack soon realises the hotel contains a deadly energy that slowly starts driving him insane. Trapped in this hotel as Jack slowly loses sanity the race for survival begins for Jack’s wife and son as evil spirits consume Jack.

I absolutely love the look of the poster but it is a real shame that these limited edition boxsets don’t go the extra mile.
Why not have a giant replica axe in a display case or a little model replica of the hotel that opens up with the film inside?
There used to be so many genius collectors edition sets out there that are sadly getting rarer by the day!
