Feathers McGraw is back as this brand new feature-length Wallace and Gromit movie is just around the corner as Aardman Animation are set to serve up another cracker.

Vengeance Most Fowl sees Gromit’s growing concern as Wallace becomes over-dependent on his inventions – which proves justified when Wallace invents a ‘smart gnome’ that seems to develop an evil mind of its own. But who or what could be the cause? As events begin to spiral out of control, it’s up to Gromit to put aside his qualms and battle sinister forces, or Wallace may never be able to invent again!

Feathers McGraw is out of jail and out for revenge  — and out for revenge but that’s not all Wallace & Gromit have to deal with as Wallace has invented smart gnome Norbot (voiced by Reece Shearsmith) who undergoes a rather menacing transformation.

What surprised me with the opening trailer is just how incredible the characters look, these aren’t digital animations this is still the tried and tested claymation of old but it looks even more fluid and incredible than ever before!

Vengeance Most Fowl is Wallace & Gromit’s return to the BBC a whopping 16 years after their previous adventure.

The film is directed by Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham (Creative Director, Wallace & Gromit and Animation Director, Early Man) with the story written by Nick Park and Mark Burton. The screenplay is written by Mark Burton and the film is produced by Richard Beek.

Julian Nott and Lorne Balfe have composed the score to the movie.

To celebrate the upcoming release of the movie three unique idents have been created featuring Wallace, Gromit and new character Norbot in a variety of locations. These Xmas themed idents were also created by Aardman and will play out on BBC One between programmes throughout the month of December.
