Peacock has today released the official trailer for Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks, a brand new 3-part docuseries premiering Monday, September 29 which will go behind the scenes on the making of Universal’s groundbreaking new theme park.
Viewers will go behind-the-scenes of the parks various rides and not just that but you’ll be joining engineers, costume and production designers, performers, choreographers and all creative teams on the project of one of the world’s most incredible theme parks.
To accompany the documentary there are interviews with a whole variety of team members involved in the project with a few celebrity faces along the way.
The cast list includes names such as Donna Langley (Chairman of NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios), Steven Spielberg (legendary filmmaker and Universal Destinations and Experiences Creative Consultant), Kathleen Kennedy (E.T., Jurassic Park), Frank Marshall (Back to the Future), Jon M. Chu (Wicked and Wicked: For Good), Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World Franchise), Academy Award(R) winner Michelle Yeoh (Wicked and Wicked: For Good), and Vin Diesel (Fast & Furious Saga).
Fans will get these first hand accounts of the creation of Universal Epic Universe and if that wasn’t enough NBC have also released a documentary inside the worlds of Epic Universe which is already streaming on Peacock.
I mean, if I made a park as amazing as Epic Universe I’d be documenting the hell out of it too!
There aren’t many people who can say they were there on the grand opening day of Universal Epic Universe as the park capped capacity to make sure that everyone who attended the opening day go the best experience.
I was lucky enough to be there on the parks opening day and it was nothing short of incredible, after a few weeks of technical rehearsal previews ended in multiple delays and teething issues the grand opening day ran like clockwork and it was an absolute joy to be one of a very small few to enjoy it on such a monumental and incredible day.
