ACTION! New Paramount Attraction at Movie Park Germany

Journey to the Forbidden Chamber Ride

Movie Park Germany will be opening a brand new movie-themed experience within their theme park in Germany next month as guests will explore a realistic film studio experience with an adventure story that will immerse guests in the filmmaking process and on-set operations of Paramount Pictures.

Shortly before its 30th anniversary, Movie Park Germany is raising the curtain and presenting its guests with a Hollywood-worthy birthday surprise: the new attraction Journey to the Forbidden Chamber will open its gates in Mid-May, bringing the world-famous Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles to life with a realistic film studio experience right on site.

This multimedia film studio experience will feature various sets, props and show elements as the whole family can get up close and personal to a Hollywood production much like extras would in a movie.

From scene to scene guests will experience the full works and will end with a paramount showroom screening area featuring costumes from well-know films produced by the studio.

More information about the ride’s story has been described by the park as follows:

The open casting call in Studio 16 opens its doors to the stars and starlets of tomorrow, as extras are sought for the next big Paramount Pictures event film! A new adventure film titled “Journey to the Forbidden Chamber” is set to hit the big screen soon.

Director and screenwriter Emma Hoffman welcomes all ambitious actors and actresses to the world-famous Paramount Pictures Studios to make the best choice and support the already cast Hollywood duo Astrid Schneider and Banner Jenkins with new talent in several scenes. From the excavation site set to the spirit chamber, the extras in this fictional story pass through various stages and gain insights into the set work and production processes at the renowned Paramount Pictures Studios.

In the final scene, the guests find themselves in the depths of the temple. The mystic spheres that guard the sacred place are brought to life in the forbidden chamber. An action-packed showdown ensues between the mighty stone warriors and the duo Schneider and Jenkins, with guests participating live as extras. To this end, they are immersed in a two-and-a-half-minute film specially produced by Paramount Pictures, which, together with a moving stage, creates a unique multimedia experience.

Journey to the Forbidden Chamber

The attraction has been a year and a half of planning and implementation to turn this experience into a real authentic backstage feeling.

Journey to the Forbidden Chamber is replacing a former ride at the park that utilised 3D glasses but I’m happy to report they have been scrapped for this new ride, no more distractions from the action around you and I wish more attractions worldwide would scrap their 3D glasses, they’re rubbish!

Roll on May when this brand new attraction opens to the public at Movie Park Germany!
